Ann Marie graduated with honours from the Veterinary faculty in U.C.D. in 2000. Having enjoyed 5 years in mixed practice she decided to specialise in small animals in 2005 and opened Allpets in 2006. She has locumed in both the U.K. and Ireland and gained valuable experience through this and her work with the Dublin Animal Emergency clinic based in U.C.D.
Her specialised interest is in internal medicine and ultrasonography. She has completed a 2 year intensive post graduate course in small animal medicine and surgery courses and achieved ESVPS certificates in both small animal medicine and small animal surgery. She particularly enjoys following ongoing cases in oncology, dermatology and ultrasonography.
She won the Network Louth business Woman of the year 2009 and 2010 in recognition of the progression, professionalism and high standards of the practice. In 2019 she was honoured to receive the overall winner of Best Health and fitness Business Award for the North East on behalf of the practice. She has a Boxer named Poppy and 2 cats named Molly and Tabitha.
