Ann Marie Horgan, MVB, GPCertSAM, GP CertSAS
Ann Marie graduated with honours from the Veterinary faculty in U.C.D. in 2000. Having enjoyed 5 years in mixed practice she decided to specialize in small animals in 2005 and opened Allpets in 2006. She has locumed in both the U.K. and Ireland and gained valuable experience through this and her work with the Dublin Animal Emergency clinic based in U.C.D.
Her specialized interest is in internal medicine and ultrasonography. She has completed a 2 year intensive post graduate course in small animal medicine and surgery courses and achieved ESVPS certificates in both small animal medicine and small animal surgery. She won the Network Louth business Woman of the year 2009 and 2010 in recognition of the progression, professionalism and high standards of the practice. She has a boxer named Poppy.
Leah Owens, MVB
Leah graduated from UCD and then worked in a busy small animal practice in the UK for a year and a half. She returned to Ireland to start at Allpets in January 2017.
She has a special interest in treating exotic animals and worked with lots of birds, reptiles and small mammals in her first job. Outside of work she loves to run, read and travel.
Sinèad O’Leary, MVB
Having graduated from UCD in 2014, Sinéad spent a year and a half working in a mixed practice in the North of Ireland. She then decided to specialise in small animals and worked for a year in the UK. Before returning home, she spent a year travelling in Central and South America and gained a lot of experience working in veterinary practices in New Zealand.
Sinéad joined Allpets in February 2018 and enjoys the variety her job brings, working with medical, surgical and emergency cases.
Outside of work she enjoys swimming, reading, playing traditional Irish music and spending time with Finn, her springer spaniel.
Tim Garran, MVB, MRCVS
Tim is originally from Canberra Australia. He graduated from the University of Bristol in 2005. He has previously worked in charity clinics, both in the UK and Asia, as well as several private clinics in the south east of England.
In 2012, Tim gained a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) post graduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery and then in 2013 achieved the RCVS Advanced Practitioner status (small animal surgery). For the last 3 years he was running a small clinic in the UK, seeing both first opinion cases and second opinion cases for surgery – mainly orthopaedics.
Tim then moved to Ireland in April 2017, with his wife Aoife and their cheeky dog Reilly! He then joined Allpets in May 2017.
His special interests are in surgery, mainly orthopaedics, wound reconstruction and oncology (tumour removals). He has brought a range of fantastic, newly developed surgical instruments and kits to Allpets, that we can use to help provide the best care to all our patients.
Colin Healy, MVB, MRCVS
Colin enjoyed over 30 years general mixed practice and in 2004 left general practice to specialize in small animal orthopedic surgery. His continued professional development courses have been focused on fracture repair and orthopedic injuries such as cruciate disease. He particularly enjoys performing the TTO and MMP procedures for cruciate repair which has recently become one of the surgeries of choice for large dogs with cruciate rupture.
Colin holds the position as consultant to the clinic for orthopedic cases and orthopedic consultations with Colin can by arranged by appointment by contacting the clinic.
Karen Rooney, RVN, Practice Manager
Karen is a registered veterinary nurse and she joined the practice in December 2006, having attained her Diploma in Veterinary nursing from UCD in 2005. She previously spent four years working in a 100% small animal clinic in Dublin where she gained a wealth of experience that has been invaluable to the practice. As practice manager her many duties include practice organisation and team coordination, ordering and drug licensing. She also ensures the highest standards of patient and client care are implemented at all times.

Kim O Brien, RVN
Kim joined the practice in 2013 and has a particular interest in feline medicine,inpatient care and runs our very successful Weight Watchers Clinic. Thanks to her dedication the clinic won a National Weight Watchers Award from Hills in both 2015 and 2016. Kim also supervises the running of the cattery and ensures that all our feline friends enjoy their boarding at Allpets Cattery. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate certificate in feline medicine.
Gillian Doyle, RVN
After spending many years working in Finance, Gillian went back to college and having always had a passion for animals – found her true calling as a veterinary nurse. She began to work as a student nurse in All Pets in 2014.
Since then, she has graduated from college and is now working as a full time nurse at All Pets.
Gillian is particularly focused on weight watcher clinics helping owners achieve pet weight loss targets and seniors nursing clinics, which helps owners to care for their geriatric animals’ needs.
Outside of work, she spends most of her free time looking after her own furries; a cocker spaniel called Molly and two guinea pigs Star (aka Beyoncé) and Clint.

Jill Yeates, RVN
Jill joined the team in 2014 and enjoys all aspect of veterinary but particular enjoys the orthopedic surgeries and patients post op rehabilitation. She also runs the puppy/kitten 6 month nurse clinic where she meets some of our junior patients and guides their owners through the transition from junior to adulthood.
Ingela Ericcson, RVN, Floor Supervisor
Ingela joined the team in 2015 having made the transition a couple of years previously from archeology to her true calling which is veterinary nursing. She runs the monthly puppy parties which are always good fun and well attended and keeps in touch with our clients through regular updating of our very active Facebook page.
Tina O’Brien, Head Receptionist
Tina joined the practice in 2011 and in 2013 was awarded the IVNA veterinary receptionist of the year award in recognition of her compassionate, professional and efficient reception skills. Her duties at Allpets include the day to day supervision of the reception area along with the processing of insurance claims, pet passport applications and general correspondence. Her love of animals extends to her home life with many dogs, cats and hens in her care.

Darina Joyce, Receptionist
Darina worked as a student veterinary nurse in the UK before relocating to Ireland. She joined Allpets in November 2016 as a receptionist. Her duties include, meeting clients and patients at the front desk, liaising with clients on the phone or via email and dealing with general queries. At home, Darina has a cat called United & also has two degus. She enjoys travelling and has an interest in exotic animals.
Cathy Monaghan, Accounts / Admin
Cathy works in the office processing pet insurance claims and dealing with customer financial queries.
